Rise and Shine Cosmetics “Dark Tower” Collection

Water balloons…….have you ever tried to make the biggest water balloon, only to have it pop right when your getting ready to turn the water off? Well, that's what my son did the other day. Luckily, it was in the bathtub and the water didn't stray too far from the tub, just the walls and the floor. Okay, so it sprayed all over the bathroom! You should've seen the look on his face when he saw how much water he'd be cleaning up…….priceless!

Now for the reason you're here, the Dark Tower Collection by Rise and Shine Cosmetics. A collection of 6 polishes that are based off of the books by Stephen King.

These polishes were sent to me free of charge for my honest opinion.

First up is The Gunslinger

A beautiful bright blue with a shimmer that shifts between icy blue, pink, and purple with silver flakies. The formula is fantastic, applies smoothly, dries fairly quick, and very easy to remove. Shown with 2 coats plus a glossy top coat in direct sunlight.

Next, is The Rose

This is a magenta base with pink and purple shimmer and red micro flakies. The formula again is fantastic! Application is nice and smooth, dry time is great, and removal is easy. Shown with 2 coats plus glossy top under artificial lighting.

You've probably already decided your getting this collection, and I agree, you definitely should (maybe even a backup collection)!

Next is The Man In Black

A black base with a red and gold duochrome shimmer. Beautiful, right??!? I had a little streaking on the first coat, but the second coat covered and evened everything out nicely. Consistency is great, dry time is quick, and removal is easy!

Blaine The Mono is the next polish

Have you ever seen anything like this? A coral based polish with red micro flakes makes this beauty unique. Again, 2 coats plus glossy top coat in direct sunlight. This formula was great! Application was easy and smooth, dry time was great, and removal was very easy.

Marturin The Turtle

Artificial lighting

I know what you're thinking. I'm done, I want them all….am I right?
This is a dark grey duochrome base that shifts between blue and green. Another unique polish that has a great formula!! Application is easy, dry time is quick, and removal is a breeze. Shown with 2 coats plus glossy top in direct sunlight and under artificial lighting.

Finally, we have my absolute favorite out of the collection…….Shardik The Bear.

This is a smokey grey base with a custom mix of duochrome to give it this amazing red shimmer. I do not have anything like this in my collection. The red shimmer just shines!!!! Formula again is fantastic, application is smooth, dry time is quick, and removal is a cinch. Shown with 2 coats plus glossy in direct sunlight.

Go ahead, order the whole collection!!! You know it's what you want!

How about a little nail art too?

For the last two photos, I used a matte top coat.
